This course introduces pre-service TLE teachers to the fundamental concepts, principles, and differing views in the curriculum development process. Emphasis will be given on the role of the teachers as curricularists in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating the TVET curriculum so that they will be able to interact meaningfully with the national and local curriculum requirements. In this course, students will be able to facilitate the development of competency standards for particular work functions, work processes, work roles, and work-related vocational outcomes, establish training requirements, identify the learner, and finalize the curriculum. In the end, the students are expected to develop, modify/customize the TVET curriculum of one qualification.

Foundations of Entrepreneurship - BMSEE-LP 4-BMSEE 4 S2-MSEX07 (M/TH 08:00AM-04:00PM/08:00AM-04:00PM)
This course (Foundations of Entrepreneurship) dwells on basic entrepreneurial concepts and practices. It includes topics such as personal entrepreneurial concepts, environment and market. At the end of this course, pre-service students are expected: to identify the characteristics of entrepreneurs and their entrepreneurial competencies; analyze the production and marketing process in an enterprise; record business transactions; prepare financial statements; and prepare business plans.
